According to Kentucky state law, you're required to report suspected abuse or neglect to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services or law enforcement. State law offers good faith immunity, which will protect you from civil or criminal liability if you make a report in good faith and with reasonable cause. You'll have that same immunity if you participate in any judicial proceedings concerning the abuse or neglect.
